Remembrance Day

Hutton Rudby Parish Council have issued the following message:

This Sunday, please avoid the War Memorial between 10.45 am and 11.15 am whilst representatives from village groups lay wreaths on behalf of us all.

Instead you are asked to observe the two minutes’ silence from your front doorstep, to be followed by a short clap to thank those who gave their lives, suffered injuries, served and continue to serve. This year more than ever we are grateful to them.

The War Memorial will be open all day if you wish to place a poppy or a cross.

Take time to look at your poppy – a message from Revd Canon Sandra Millar.
