A Notice giving details of proposed pastoral reorganisation of this parish will be displayed near the main door and on the Church of England website. The Notice includes the last date by which representations regarding the proposed reorganisation may be made to the Church Commissioners.
Middlesbrough Asylum Project (MAP) – Margaret Donaldson (700880) is collecting items for this ongoing project. Household items, clothes etc would be most welcome.
Dates for the diary:
Sunday 6 October – Harvest Fellowship Lunch. Our Harvest Festival Service will be at 9.15am and followed by a Fellowship Lunch in Church House at 12.15pm. Tickets available from Jennifer Watt or Pat Searle, – £12.00/adult and £6.00/child or £30/family ticket. Two course meal plus wine or soft drink.
Sunday 13 October – Drop in and Draw – in All Saints Church. Sit in the peace and quiet of this beautiful historic church from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Draw what you see around you – the Art in the Church’s installation, the stained glass windows, the intricate work around the organ, the eagle lectern, the Milner pulpit, – it is up to you! Materials will be provided. Light refreshments will be provided.
Sunday 20 October – Antiques Fair. This event takes place in Church House from 10.00am and once again All Saints has been asked to provide refreshments. At the previous Fair this raised a considerable sum of money for the Church, so if you could help at this event, by serving food etc. please contact Pat Searle or Moira Hamilton.
Saturday 2nd November – Charities Fair. The annual Charities Fair takes place in Church House from 10.00am – 2.30pm. As usual there will be refreshments all day. If you know of any charity that would like to be represented at this event, please let Pat Searle (701355) know as soon as possible.
