  • all those who mourn the loss of loved ones, remembering Janet Hulse and the family following Geoff’s death this week, and also family and friends of Caroline Seymour

Notices

A Notice giving details of proposed pastoral reorganisation of this parish is displayed near the main door and on the Church of England website.  The Notice includes the last date by which representations regarding the proposed reorganisation may be made to the Church Commissioners.

Middlesbrough Asylum Project (MAP) Margaret Donaldson (700880) is collecting items for this ongoing project.  Household items, clothes etc would be most welcome.

Leven Online Radio – the radio station is now live with some very interesting programmes.  A schedule is available from the Hub.  www.levenonlineradio.co.uk. 

HARVEST – Pam Ridgway would be very grateful for donations towards the Harvest flowers with which to decorate the Church.  The Food Bank would also be most grateful for Harvest offerings of non-perishable items – please leave them at the back of Church.  Some of these will be presented during the Harvest Service on 6th October.

Sunday 6 October – Harvest Fellowship LunchOur Harvest Festival Service will be at 9.15am and followed by a Fellowship Lunch in Church House at 12.15pm.  – see poster.

Sunday 13 October – Drop in and Draw – in All Saints Church.  Sit in the peace and quiet of this beautiful historic church from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.  Draw what you see around you – the Art in the Church’s installation, the stained glass windows, the Milner pulpit, – it is up to you!  Materials will be provided.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Sunday 20 October – Antiques Fair.  This event takes place in Church House from 10.00am and once again All Saints has been asked to provide refreshments.  At the previous Fair this raised a considerable sum of money for the Church.

Saturday 2nd November – Charities Fair.  The annual Charities Fair takes place in Church House from 10.00am – 2.30pm.
