Notices

Saturday 18th May – 10.00am at the Hub – Christian Aid Coffee Morning. Tombola and raffle prizes are needed and, nearer the time, cakes and preserves. Please give these to Kay Gifford, Diane Gent or Jennifer Watt.  Distributors of envelopes are also needed in Glendale and Levendale – you do not need to collect as there will be collection points around the Village.

Thy Kingdom Come –  Global Wave of Prayer takes place from Ascension Day (30th May) to Pentecost (9th June).  Prayers will be said in all the churches of our Deanery and David Local, from Yarm, has organised a Pilgrimage (similar to the one round the Benefice) but this time over eight days to cover the full Deanery.  Like last week, people can walk any part of this Pilgrimage, or simply go to the services – there is a draft programme on the notice board at the back of Church and also on the website.   (Simply go to www.huttonrudbychurch.org.uk and type in Thy Kingdom Come). It would be helpful if you would let Owen or Jennifer know if you intend doing any of the walks, and particularly which ones.
