The Archbishops of Canterbury and York were calling for Church of England churches to put public worship on hold and become a “different sort of church” in the coming months to face the challenge of coronavirus: hopeful and rooted in the offering of prayer and praise and overflowing in service to the world. You can read the letter here.
In line with the new Government guidelines, All Saints will open the building for a 9.30am Service from 19th July. The Church can also be opened for personal prayer. by contacting a Church Warden. Church House will also be open for those events that are allowed, but as yet, no social events can be arranged there.
The elderly and/or extremely vulnerable are still advised to stay at home so there will be a Zoom Service of Morning Prayer at 11.00am every Sunday.
We are aware that this is a challenging time for all but, to help, some services will continue to be on You Tube, and can be watched here.
