Come and See is the Northern Bishops’ Mission to the Diocese of York, led by the Archbishop of York taking place from 12th to 15th March 2020.
Come and See is an opportunity for us to unite in local mission and evangelism. We pray, we invite, we celebrate and we offer hospitality, all in the power of the Holy Spirit, telling the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Since 2015, Bishops and their teams from the northern half of The Church of England, led by the Archbishop of York, have been sowing the seeds of the Gospel and encouraging people to learn more about the Christian faith. Come and See will be the eighth Bishops’ Mission weekend.
In the Whorlton Benefice there will be a Pilgrimage Walk on 14th March starting at 9.15am from the Old Church in Whorlton, walking to the Lady Chapel near the ancient monastery of Mount Grace Priory.
